Stoeger model 312 shotgun is manually pump-operated, using slidingforend to cycle the bolt group via two action bars. Bolt locks directly into the barrel extension by rotating its head with massive locking lugs, providing secure and strong lockup and smooth cycling. Feed is from underbarrel tubular magazine, which holds 4 (standard) or 6(extended) rounds, plus one in the chamber. Standard barrels have fixed blade and bead sight, and no sighting rib. Choke is of fixed cylinder type, most suitable for firing slugs and buckshot.
